Hiya friends!
Thanks for being here.
I thought it was about time I introduced myself, and I’d love to get to know a bit about you too.
That’s me up there! I’m a mother of 3, and a wife to the most generous, loud talker I know. Born and raised in New Zealand, I now call my little patch of paradise in Northern NSW my home. I’m a brand and family photographer, but I really like to think of myself as a story teller. I’ve always been quite a curious person (some might say nosy), but this has come in handy, because more than anything, I’m curious about life! I’m not big on small talk (it actually makes me feel awkward) but get down into the nitty gritty of what makes you tick and I’m all ears! And, as it happens, that’s the stuff that I Iove to shoot.
When I’m not telling stories with my camera, I’m making school lunches, walking along the beach, drinking a soy latte, smoothies or sparkling wine, trying to be a yogi, dancing with my kids, and dreaming of travelling. If I could travel anywhere right now I’d be on a plane to either India or Morocco.
I’ve learnt that each day is like a page in a book. It’s only part of the whole story, and that page is over so quickly, before we move onto the next.
Those first few weeks with my son or daughters flew by, and before I knew it they were six months old, and then five years old, and then eleven years old.
Unless it’s been written down, I don’t remember some of those “milestones” of my children’s short lives.
But, I’ve found my gift of being able to capture small, seemingly insignificant, moments of their lives. Small moments that actually make our lives extraordinary. These small moments that singularly are one page, but together tell our own very honest and extraordinary story.
I am also driven by discovering the potential in others and supporting their personal purpose. My nosiness has come in handy as it allows me to notice how others feel, and I use this understanding to help them grow and in turn make the difference they were here to make.
So whether it be a day together as a family, or working on your own purpose, I will capture those moments that allow you to be seen, and that mean the most.
I am available for photography from Gold Coast to Byron Bay. But I also love to travel, so if you’re anywhere through Australia and New Zealand, or anywhere else, drop me a line and we can work something out.
